Animal Control

Loose animals within the city limits may be picked up by Animal Control. If you have lost an animal please contact City Hall at (903) 564-4000.

If you would like to adopt a pet (dog or cat) please contact city hall (903) 564-4000. The city does not take responsibility for the welfare of lost pets. The city does offer a holding station where unwanted pets can be adopted.


Trash Curbside Pick Up

Place toters at the curby BY 7:00 AM

East Side of Union Street
Monday = trash (green toter)
Wednesday = recycle (Blue toter)

West Side of Union Street
Tuesday= trash (green toter)
Thursday = recycle (Blue toter)


 

Brush Pick-up

The City of Whitesboro offers a unique service for the city homeowner. 

City employees make regular routes throughout the city picking up HOMEOWNER/ CUSTOMER cut brush. 

All CONTRACTOR cut bush must be removed by the contractor. 

 

Brush Pick-up Guidelines

All limbs, less than eight (8) inches in diameter, must be stacked next to the street curb with CUT END to curb.  

Larger logs, over eight (8) inches in diameter, and stumps shall be cut to five (5) feet lengths and stacked next to the curb and separated from the limbs.

All limbs need to be cut at five (5) feet and the Y’s removed.
