Administration

City Administrator's Office
Julie Arrington, City Administrator

I began with the City of Whitesboro in September 2023. I have a total of twenty five years municipal experience with the last five years as a City Administrator and 15 years experience as a City Secretary. I graduated in 2018 from the University of Texas at Arlington with my Master's in Public Administration. I hold a bachelors of Applied Arts and Science with a concentration in Paralegal/Legal Studies, Public Administration and Emergency Management from the University of North Texas, Denton. I am a Texas Registered Municipal Clerk and Certified Pool Operator.

I grew up in Carrollton Texas and am a high school graduate of R.L. Turner. I spent many weekends on Lake Texoma fishing or playing soccer. I come from a large extended family and have family from all around Southeastern Oklahoma and Northeastern Texas.  John and I have three children and five grandchildren who live nearby. We raised our older children in Little Elm Texas and lived there for 15 years. I enjoy outdoor activities, all sports, and music genre's.

We are extremely happy to be here and look forward to being a part of the community.
