Jerry Warren retires after serving 23 years at Whitesboro Economic Development Corp.

Jerry Warren has retired after serving 23 years on the Whitesboro Economic Development Corporation (WEDCO) Board.  

Jerry  was given a going away party with a cake and a plaque honoring him for his many years of service on the Board.  Lynda Anderson, Whitesboro Director of economic development said, "He has been an outstanding and exemplary Board Member.  I always knew I could count on him to attend the meetings and to share his valued skills and know-how.  His supreme expertise will be missed." She added, "He contributed to the betterment of Whitesboro through job creation, infrastructure additions and an overall increase in the quality of life for all citizens of Whitesboro."

Warren has been a Board Member since WEDCO was founded in 1998.

At a regular meeting of the Whitesboro City Council, the Council voted unanimously to appoint Cary Bryan to replace Warren on the WEDCO Board.
