The Whitesboro Police Department consists of the Chief of Police, Lieutenant, Investigator, Five Patrol Officers, and a Night Watchmen.

Lieutenant - K. Dockery
Lieutenant Dockery attended the Texoma Police Academy and graduated in 2007. After graduation, he came to work for the Whitesboro Police Department and has been with the department ever since. He was promoted to Sergeant in 2017 and in 2018, he advanced to Lieutenant. Lt. Dockery is married and has two boys. He holds an advanced peace officer and field training officer (FTO) certificate, among others. One of the things he loves most about his career is the ability to help people on a daily basis. He enjoys hanging out with his wife and sons and outdoor activities on his days off.
Investigator- W. Vaughn
Investigator Vaughn attended the Texoma Regional Police Academy and graduated in 2006. He started his career with Sherman PD and transferred over to Honey Grove in 2008. In 2013, he came to the Whitesboro Police Department and in 2019 he was promoted to Investigator, and also hold the title of Officer In Charge (OIC). He is married with three boys and two grandsons. Some of the special certifications that Inv. Vaughn has is FTO, Advanced Peace Officer, and Crime Scene/Forensics Investigations Certificate, along with several others. On his days off, he enjoys spending time with his family at the gun range, fishing, and attending sporting events.
Patrol Officer J. Turner
Officer Turner attended Texoma Regional Police Academy and graduation in 2015. He worked with Southmayd Police Department from 2016-2019 and then came to the Whitesboro Police Department in October of 2019. Officer Turner has been married to his wife for over 20 years and they have 3 sons. He holds several special certifications; including, but not limited to: ARIDE, HITS, and FTO. One of his favorite things about being a police officer is getting DWI arrests/getting drugs and drunks off the roadway- that way he knows that he has helped at least one person by doing so, maybe even more.
Patrol Officer A Giddens
Officer Giddens attended the Texoma Regional Police Academy and graduated in 2018, shortly after he became a police officer for Whitesboro Police Department. WPD is the first agency he has worked for. Officer Giddens has two cats and one dog. He holds a Basic Peace Officer Certification. He likes the relationship that the police department and the community share and that the job is never routine, there is always something different every shift. On his days off, he enjoys spending time with family, friends, and his animals, and he also enjoys playing games.
Patrol Officer A. Willis
Officer Willis attended the Texoma Regional Police Academy and graduated in 2017. He started his career as a Reserve Officer for Collinsville Police Department. In October of 2018 he came to Whitesboro PD. He is married and has two daughters and three sons. He holds a Basic Peace Officer Certification. One of his favorite things about being a Police Officer is knowing that he is doing his part in helping the community. He is a family man and enjoys spending time with his wife and children in his free time.
Patrol Officer JA. Harp
Officer Harp attended the Texoma Regional Police Academy and graduated in 2005. She was a Tom Bean officer in 2007. In late 2007 she came to WPD and then in 2014 went to work for CCSO where she was Sergeant Criminal Investigator for several years. In 2019, she transferred back to Whitesboro, where she has always enjoyed working and being a part of a close knit community. Officer Harp also has an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice. She has two children and several dogs and cats. She holds several special certifications including, Masters Peace Officer License, Child Abuse Prevention and Investigation, Fire and Arson Investigations, Identity Theft Investigations, among many others. One of the things Officer Harp loves most about her career in law enforcement is the criminal investigations process and her perseverance to pursue a case until prosecution. On her days off, she enjoys spending time with family, cooking, fishing, and arts and crafts.
Patrol Officer L. Hatch
Officer Hatch attended the Texoma Regional Police Academy- graduating in 1999. He has worked for Grayson Co. Sheriff's Office, Whitewright PD, and currently works for WPD. He has approximately 25 years experience in law enforcement. He is married with two children, two dogs, two grandchildren, and two grand puppers (can't forget the furbabes!) He has special training in mental health, crime prevention and holds both Master Peace Officer and Master Jailer licenses. He is also head of our evidence room and holds a Basic Property and Evidence Technician Certificate through TAPEIT. His favorite things about his job is that he gets to educate people on the working of a police department and to also improve the relationship between citizens and officers. When he is not at work, Ofc Hatch enjoys spending time with his family, taking cruise vacations, and wood working.
Night Watchman Johnny Rincones
Our Nightwatchman has been with the department for over 10 years. He began duty in April of 2010. He assists officers on most weekend nights to add extra security to our town. Over the years he has helped keep Whitesboro safe and secure by aiding the officers in locating subjects, detecting drunk drivers, securing unattended and open buildings, finding suspicious people/vehicles, as well as many other acts of service. His favorite part of working for the police department is that he gets to assist the officers and help the people. He also likes to check the local buildings, schools and parks for suspicious activity; he feels a sense of pride knowing that he is taking part in keeping the community safe. On his days off he enjoys spending time with his family.
